Automatic water refilling issue

I don't know if that's just me, but I can't make my guys refill any fields with water automatically so I got to do it manually every 20-30 minutes or so. It's not that big of a deal now, but I'm planning on going full guerilla style with my crew soon and by then that might become a pain in the ass to do it by myself.
Does the field worker suppose to do this job or is he just suppose to harvest the field when its ready?

And yes, when I tried my unit inventory was empty, so that's not the issue surely... I'm using the 0.9.10 build.

Seems to work for me. Both well workers and farmers will refill fields. Well workers do it from their well. Farmers do it from a tank.

Mine was working fine also. Might want to move your well and see if it fixes it.

From what I have observed, If you shift to assign the field as your character's job; he will auto re-fill the water in the fields when the fields need water BUT he only re-fills 1 barrel of water. However, if you assign one of your characters to the water well; when the well is full that character will take the excess water barrels to the fields and fill them to their max capacity. The catch is that the well must have 10 barrels of water in it before the toon starts re-filling other stations.
