Storage for Raw Meat, but none for Dried Meat?

Nope, my food stores will not let me put anything in them. They say "Chewsticks" at the top, and won't accept any food, though I haven't tried chewsticks since I don't have any.

Only one other, but this started off with dried meat specifically, was hoping I was missing something other than the food storage option that is already an issue for me.

What is happening when you try putting dried meat in?

Other than verify game files and importing the only other thing I can think of doing is dismantling the food store and building another.

In the food storage? It tells me it is not a valid item for that storage. I've tried dismantling it (since I bulit it before I had power initially), and dropping a new one, no change.

the firs thing I figured out I could put in the food stores was the vegetable stuff (you grow the 'fruit' and cook it with water to get vegetables)

I definitely cannot put cooked vegetables in there, I can however apparently put meat wraps in now...

weird, maybe there is a way to change what goes in there? I've never made food more complicated than bread/cooked vegetables, it definitely let me put cooked veggies in there the only time I ever built a food store (a couple games ago, should have been the same version)
