NPC's joining Outpost?
I read on here someone mentioned they have NPC's that have moved into their Outpost. Does anyone know what the requirements were for this to happen? Or if it's a mod, which mod? Sounds interesting.

Just have a store selling food and wandering npcs and sometimes npcs from other towns including pacifiers will move in. Best along some type of road with frequent travellers. Booze helps too, techunters will swing buy and buy 10k at a time.

You can hire Tech Hunters as settlement guards. At the conclusion of their contract, they don't have an order to retreat, like the Mercenary's Guild does. So they get stuck in your settlement patrolling the town until you import the save.

They remain neutral, but I've had a few instances where attackers aggroed them after wiping the floor with me and get wiped in turn. So they can be useful to have around.

personally I recruit hungry bandits to populate.
They suck, die easily, and can progress, just like townies.

Once recruited they become a permanent mercenary contract.
