1 iron ore mined.
I'm not skipping anything, I'm speeding things up. There's a difference. To skip things would actually take the fun out of a game. Fight coming up? Skip (also known as auto-resolve). That isn't fun. I just want things to go faster. I don't want have to wait for the drudgery of mining a single iron ore, and then refine it at an absurd conversion rate, which I then have to wait to mine MORE ore to make a single iron plate. That isn't fun as well.
Also, I'm simply using something the developers put into the game. If I wanted a fast forward option where there was one, that would be different. It just feels like the current fast-forward isn't as fast as it used to be, and could stand to be just a bit faster, at least in my opinion.
I never tested it myself in kenshi but since i used it in a lot of game, you could give a try !
Just be sure to save before using it and expect it to be a little messy :o
I cannot think of something better right now !
Tell me if it's helped you buddy :D
(just google cheat engine speedhack feature, it's really simple in case you never used the logiciel :D )
Have a good day buddy
Norton flagged it, so I'll have to shut off Norton.
Mining is boring at starters, later on its hardly trivial anymore.
IMHO the game needs ALOT more optimalisations and less disc activity before faster time modes will be of any use.
Its already speed up/hang/speedup/hang/speedup/freeze and i dont have a crappy PC at all, still my PC (i7 4820k/16GB ram/1050Ti/SSD huge loading lag and saving lag.
Alot of background loading that let the game stutter and freeze.
While on normal and medium speed these effects are alot less, so guessing speeding things even more up, wil surely make the game crash ALOT...
So i really hope they not adding this any time soon, at least not till the game is really optimized
Dev allready stated that the only way to get better performance would be to upgrade to a newer version of the engine but if it happen, that would delay A LOT the 1.0 version of kenshi and surely will cause some problem with feature like rebuilding them from the very begining !
Correct me if i'm wrong but i fear there is a few thing that can be done to improve performance right now ! But the game can be optimised a little more i think !
But sorry buddy, do not expect it to be A LOT better than now :/
