i have always wanted to play this but i have no clue what i am supposed to do with this class! Can anyone give me some insite on what i am supposed to do with this class?

what class? there are no real classes, all the different start does is making you start with a few different conditions (stuff you start with and locations). You can do whatever you can do with any of the other starts.

The point here is to give people a faster way by this start to do trading by granting you a pack animal.

yes, it kinda is, unfortunately other methods are better for making money, so trading si truly just done when you want to live the Life of a trader by choice.
