Report a translation problem
1. Designate one unit to be your lock picker.
2. Use a locksmith trainer to get to 30 skill.
3. Then you go to a town that has a jail, place yourself in the cage and unlock it until you get 50 skill. If you can find a jail with the poles even better.
Otherwise what will happen is you will clear some ruins be unable to unlock a chest and safe, then have to keep going back later to try again.
The most important thing is do not use multiple units to unlock, this can make your xp even worse due to multiple rolls opening it too early.
Then once you reach 50 lockpicking the whole system goes to @#$% because then you eventually open anything.
i mostly keep some of my guys on ground floor distracting most of them and then they guy i wane teach lock picking is on upperfloor its not compleetly fool proof but thats fastes way i got my guy around 45 lockpicking.
ather way is picking locks of shops and chests inside the shop but not stealing anything.
i stil need find a way to level thievery in a good way instead of the obvious foolish way.
