Does sitting anywhere help speed up healing like beds?

Following that thread. sitting will reduce hunger rate, lying down will reduce it even more. Which is why when I build an outpost I always make a building/tavern/inn with plenty of sitting benches/stools/boxes/mats.

I believe The hunger rate is zero when sleeping, sometimes If i i get sick of multi tasking between squads, I will have 1 sleep at an inn (or at the home base) and ignore them for extended periods of time not ideal with animals as they cant really sleep
