[Fix] Delayed movement bug
I had a problem with my game where my(only my) characters had a 2-4 sec delay on the movement order which made it nearly impossible to play

I searched the internet for a fix, but did not find any so here is mine.

Import your save from the main menu.

Had you tried enabling the hardware mouse?

Ive fixed my problem and im sharing the fix.

yes i have hardware mouse.
But its not a performance issue i play with 80-100 fps with no problem, but this seemed to happen randomly(for me) and i found the fix/ a fix

this started happening to me like half an hour ago and then stopped on its own

hmmm... I was hoping for more info on this. This just started happening to me. I have imported my save game and it still persists.
I also get glitching movement, as if my character is constantly trying to recalculate its walk path and taking this 2-3 second delay to initiate a movement and I keep getting jumped by mobs.

I've noticed that happens to me when I tell my squad to travel long distances. My solution is to first slow the game from super fast and give a more immediate destination.

So, as this is an old post. i dont remeber it too well. But from what i know you can fix it by importing save or reducing your mods, graphics and any other intensive stuff.

Sorry i cant help anymore than that. it seems its tied to bloating the save.

Saved games in Kenshi can get "bloated" when the player has been to and interacted with large portions of the world. It's inevitable as those changes and new data have to be saved "somewhere." An Import, since it can reset the current state of the whole world, just returns those things back to world map defaults which are initially read from the default game modules rather than superseded by data in the saved game files.

For myself, no saved-game bloat issues have ever caused me any problems. And, that's running the game on a potato... I'm also willing to put up with certain QoL game experience things that some current gamers won't put up with.

Try using "CTRL+Shift+F11" :beeped: This fixed the delay for me. This also fixed pathfinding
