However I've never had my camera shoot off into the distance, so I can't help ya there, sorry.
You can learn all the camera controls under the option menu I think.
Double tap the number will move the camera to the person selected I think.
In other words, if you want the camera to revolve around a character, you will need the camera focused on that character. Like I said previously, you can double tap the corresponding number on your keyboard to select the specific character from selected squad.
Or, you can double click on the character or their picture to focus the camera on that character. You can then pan and zoom and rotate your camera with that character in the center.
If you move the camera away from the character by moving your mouse to the edge of the screen for example, the camera will move freely and you will need to select that character again if you want it to be in the center.
Does this makes sense to you?
i dont have a buttoninput software, sorry.
pls help op.
If you find edge-scrolling to get in the way, disable it in options > general
Does this make sense to me? Can't really picture it in my head but I appreciate very much the helpful comments and I will go and give what you suggest a try. Then, I am sure, I will understand; it will make sense. : )
Thanks to all of you for your helpful responses.
but...
how do you successfully rotate your view if there is nobody else present to rotate around?
For example: I once decided try on a bit of theivery. I went in a room and wanted to look around to see what was in the room so I could decide if there was anything worth stealing. I tried to rotate my view and as described above the position of the camera moved rather than simply rotating in place and while I was busy messing with that, trying to get my point of view back in the room, a guard came along without me noticing and caught me.
The camera does spin around a fixed point whether the character is selected or not, roughly the centre of the screen, no matter where one has there cursor or character at the time of spinning.
Disableing edge scrolls as mentioned above can make life easier.
