The same thing happened to me there, and unfortunately the guards just forgot about my shack. Never saw the light of day again.
It was interesting to see that left to its own devices the camp was almost wiped, including the Slaver Boss after 40 days of my solo char being stuck in the cage.
Skimmer attrition can be brutal.
Just curious, if you were to get the shackles off, but they came to transport you before you could get out of the cage, would they notice / care you had no shackles?
Yes, unlock your shackles, but keep them on. Then when they are walking with you, keep obedient slave on, but start to kind of dwadle, when you put some distance between you and the slaver caravan, or ideally, when something attacks, dump the shackles and bail.
Poor Izumi has had to pull this maneuver like 4 times in the latest playthrough. She signed on for science, she got a cage.
Even with 1% "Looks like a Slave" I pretty much instantly get recognized in any UC town, your best bet is to flee to the western hives right at the edge of Sinkuun and the Great Desert. There you can rest with the hivers, and draw enemies to the swarm which will be quickly dispatched. With no cells, defeated enemies can be looted at your leisure.
