Where do I find weapon crafting blueprints?
I'm kind of in a rut. I started as a Wanderer in Sho-Battai and eventually gathered a band of 7 other people after I wandered down to Heft. I've bought out 6 or so buildings there and I have an armor crafter (around 70 skill) a weapon crafter (50-ish?) and a brand new crossbow crafter to be (with a measly 6 skill). I've hit a bit of a roadblock. I can craft Trader's Leather Armor to my heart's content and I have plenty of cats from that but my weaponcrafter doesn't have anything interesting to create. Can you give me any tips as to where I could find blueprints?

I've been hesitant to explore because my squad is around ~15 each for strength, ~50 athletics, and not so great weapon stats. I just wanted to have the cats to buy better armor before I started picking more fights.

Well you can explore in force, or you can explore discreetly. To some extent your scouts are expendable.

I recommend training up a scout squad. They need athletics, light armor and lots of stealth. Eventually they can run pretty fast while stealthed.

your scouts can buy and learn the schemstics wherever they are - which is handy.

You'll find weapon schematics in the various weapon shops

Any easy way to explore is follow groups. Escpecially caravans since they go town to town.

All weapon shops sell blueprints for weapons. Depending on which faction owns the shop is what weapons the sell.

Thanks! That's a stellar idea. Can you train athletics and stealth at the same time by having them sneak + run across distances without being encumbered?

Or if the shop building has more favorable stealth loactions, you can go the thievery and lockpicking path. Bear in mind that blueprints may or may not be in the more secure storage that requires lockpicks, depending if there are items more valuable than the blueprints. Thievery must be of reasonable skill levels, or you may be forced to steal from storage furthest from the trader or floors above.

Yep!

Best way I have found to train sneak was to park the sneaking dude at the entrance of a town with assaults. don't join in just sneak from the people attacking and the sneak goes up.

Also sneaking around less hostile guys helps and also sneaking while wearing only part of a uniform helps especially around guys that don't care (like the UC)

you can right click on the map and just send the little dude running. don't forget to give him food.

And like others have said, I also recommend stealing the blueprints because stealing.

Then again, how my ninja goes shopping is he sneaks into the shop, knocks out the shopkeeper with stealth and then lifts everything he needs and scoots out. Loot and boost.

If stealth levels are low, sneak gets slowed down significantly, so not recommended unless stealth is reasonable enough.

With the exception of beak things, work on athletics to outrun enemies if you are spotted.
