Gates Closed, Locked and Private yet Slavemonger's can open them?
Hi all,

I confirmed my gates were Closed, Locked and Private yet a band of Slavemonger's walked up to my outer gate and opened it like the own the thing. They then proceeded to walk into my settlement! Luckily, none of my guys are down and vulnerable to being made a slave - just the last three sets of invaders - who all arrived at once - but what if some of my guys were down? I really don't like it when my own guys get the random urge to open gates, let alone other factions.

This game is great, but it's little issues like this which need ironing out as a matter of priority in my view, considering the impending release. It's near impossible to snag a save to recreate these things happening as you notice it after it's occurred of course.

Locked gates should be locked!

As an aside, when traders and the like - so neutral, or even friendly potentially - Factions teleport inside your walls and then proceed to smash down your gates to get out...well, they really shouldn't do that! The AI should have them ask to be let out...as their teleportation tech is evidently one-way lol.

Yeah, and that should be counted as committing a crime, so my guys manning the wall-mounted crossbows would open fire. These slavers remain neutral despite breaking into by settlement. Darn cheek! lol.

I have noticed slavers with bounties, a group came into the hub whilst I was fighting some bandits and suddenly the guards turned around and attacked the slavers knocking out 3 of them. It's a bit of a shame slavers don't get bounties or the commiting crime buff when they open your locked gates.

Yeah, I know the AI sometimes needs some leeway, but really the rules that apply to the players characters should apply to all. To be fair, they usually do, which is cool, but in this case nope.

Well, this time the Slavers didn't managed to magically unlock my gate, this time they resorted to just bashing it down! Despite them being in a "committing crime" state, they were not hostile, so my mounted crossbows ignored them.

To add insult to injury, after smashing my gate they proceeded to breach TWO wall sections, and they still weren't hostile.

I've been forced to "attack unprovoked" to stop them wrecking my walls - though it's safe to say I was mightily provoked!

Wonder why their AI is so desperate to enter my settlement? Perhaps there's an unconscious bandit laying around somewhere...but how would they know?

Edit: Apparently I'm the one "committing crime" defending my own settlement, that can't right right surely?
