Starting with all tech research and blueprint
As of title, I've edited the game to start with all the crafting research and blueprints but I still seem to miss some high level recipes that I need to research in game, is there a fix to this? some FCS command that I'm missing?

What are you missing?
If you are getting all research via blueprints, then yeah you gotta research it. Blueprints don't work unless you have prerequisite research. Most require that you have a minimum level tech bench. These combine so that you need to build and upgrade tech benches, at a minimum, before you can unlock all the research.

Once you have identified what exactly you are missing, its possible to create research and/or blueprints to unlock most things.

I get some research projects like all the tech benches and some other stuff but I still have to research basic weapons, armor and most other things. I've spent some good 5 hours trying to figure this out but I'm afraid it is beyond my skills.

Ok, what you want are blueprints for the weapons. The default ones should give you all weapons, but you'll need to build a tech bench 2 in order to read/unlock them.

Armor is less intuitive: What you want are Armor Blueprints. Sort of like selecting clothing, only you select the catagory Armor Blueprints instead and select all. The upside is that you may accidentially unlock armor that would otherwise not be unlockable.

You WILL need an import or fresh game, even import is not 100% reliable (but hopefully will work if you've got a game going that you'd like to continue).

What I wanted to do was basically to be able to craft everything from the start without the need to research it, will the import allow me to do that?

Upon further reflection, I doubt that a mod can increase the player's research in an active game. Without more modding (like creating a recruitable character that has all the blueprints you want, then importing so the character appears), an import probably won't work.

I actually created a character just to fix a mod that had mistakenly taken away the starting player research using just such a character. Torso Mod fix.

If you just want to craft everything from start without research, several mods exist that already do that, although many are themed as the player being a god, or a scoundrel, or one of the main characters in the game.

If you like modding, one trick is to learn by looking at other people's mods. You can do that by finding the mods in the workshop folder, making a copy in the Kenshi mod folder, then renaming the folder to the name of the mod. Then you can load other people's mods in the Forgotten Construction Set and find out how they did things.

Thanks I managed to do it the hard way by researching everything and importing the game, time consuming but it got me what I wanted. The mod you posted seem pretty interesting though, wish I knew about it before.

Cut/Paste the mod above into your mods folder and you can open it in FCS to tweak it to your liking if you don't want the cats or good gear. Just click the Changes button in the top bar of the editor to see all the things the mod changes, then tweak or remove entries as you please.

I've run into another problem, when I build the leather armor crafting station it only let me craft the merchant leather rags and nothing else, I've imported the save and didn't use any mod, just let the character do the research and left the game running till it ended (took almost all real life day), anybody have the same issue?

I think you will still need to use blueprints to unlock armor..

If you've never been to Flats Lagoon, I created a mod that should help:

Kenshi only generates towns when you go to them. Hence, if you've never been to Flats Lagoon and you load my mod, then it will generate the free recruit in Flats Lagoon.
If you HAVE been to Flats Lagoon, tell me where you haven't been, and I can move the free recruit there. She can be identified by her Large Backpack and Drifter leather jacket.

Note: If you want to create your own unlock all armour blueprint, make sure you go through the list and remove the REFERENCE armour, or it will crash the game.

Thanks but I gave up, basically the reason why the blueprints didn't unlock was that I forgot to disable a mod that allowed to research everything without books and in only one hour, I disabled that and it did act up the way I wrote before, anyway chance wants that my last save was in the flat lagoon so I will definitely give your mod a try, thanks.

It also has a start in Flats Lagoon, if you or anyone else just wants to check it out. I found that Mourn was a pretty good place to set up...at least until they inevitably get overrun by the beak things.
