Faster fast forward?

Hi, I just started the game, and it's rough but I can see its full of options. The thing is, I find it a bit slow in some ways, like waiting for your character to mine or waiting for sunrise, or just walking around while burdened or while injured. Is there any way to go faster than the second fast forward option? thanks!
And if you have any tips on why I should stick with this game during quarantine, then I would appreciate it.

Do different things. Go to better, more happening towns. Don't wait.

Hi. Yeah mining is a bore but the easiest way to make money. If you injured find a bed to heal the limbs faster. Night duration is very short in this game. If you do not want to use the over burdened method, then equipped them with Heavy Weapons i.e. - Planks. They will increase that stat & another while swinging. Sure they suck at first but they will improve with each battle provided you engage the proper enemy. I will not recommend Fragment Axe/ Falling Sun.

Tips as to why you should stick with this game ? Cannot think of any. You have to decide after playing. Good luck.

Tips on why I should stick with this game during quarantine - set your goal, by defeating a faction who annoys you, to find factions who annoys you - got travel around, just 1 or 2 biomes around your base will do.

Mining's pretty much how most people start out. It's boring but relatively safe. Once you know the world better, you'll be out adventuring even from day 1 simply because there are way better methods for getting money... if you know where to look.

I put my recruits in P.E. then do push-ups before the screen. Gained 4 kg weight during quarantine and now lost them all, and still going.

ps- Definition of P.E.- carry a prisoner and run(follow/passive) with a guard.

Whoever started this meme advice of mining being the easy way to make money early on is a masterful troll. Leaving aside specific things you can do that require knowing the location of certain stashes of goodies, it's both more profitable and more entertaining to lure enemies into gate guards and scavenge from the bodies.
