Hashish only selling for average price instead of 585% markup at UC Thieves Guild
I have sold hashish and the UC shinobi thieves before, at Heng andHeft, getting at least 900 cats for each hashish, but when I am trying it now, at both cities, it is only selling for 210 (average price is 144). When I go to sell, it says the selling price is 840 cats, but when i actually sell it, i only make 210 cats, and I can buy it back for 210 cats. Why is this happening? how can i sell this hashish at the superinflated price? is it a bug?

If you're selling to shinobi thieves at their watchtowers in Heft & Heng for average price then it's bug. Be sure you aren't selling to fencing thieves sitting in bars. Other towns such as Mongrel & Hub buy hashish for lower or average prices which is expected.

bug or not, you're wasting your time selling to thieves guild. flats lagoon, all day.

Hello fellow future people who searched and found this post: drop the individual hashish on the ground one by one and pick them back up, fixed it for me.

You can sell more in one go at Flats Lagoon, but the Shinobi Traders in the desert pay more for hash than you can get for it at Flats.

The Virgin Hashish Concocter v. The Chad Grog Brewer.
Anyway, the issue with the markup not being applied is because the hashish is marked as stolen. This can happen if you drop a backpack full of it, walk a bit away, and pick it back up. Other conditions can also trigger this self-thievery and mark items (the item might not even have the stolen tag visible), but the backpack is the most common since it's easy to ditch if you need speed when you run away from, say, a beak thing.
Cougar206's trick work because the game recheck who the hashish belongs to when you pick it all one by one and realise it was you all along.
