Losing my mind trying to find Ai cores

Lost some men trying to get to narko's trap and not finding a single AI core. Went to the scrapyard and no Ai cores either. Where am I supposed to look for them?

i know 3 ancient tech labs, one in a isle left to cannibal village, one left to arach after mountains and another in the tower of abuse

at this places drops 1 or more AI cores.

that's gigants robots drops 1 core too but its too hard to defead then

It's 1.0.17 but i don't think loot values got changed much going into 1.0.19.

I had quite a successful trip going through wailing forest, beserker plains and then up the coast north of there to the island in picture. Northwest coast.

Swamped Labs is a easy place to try, maybe the easiest if your sneak is good.

King Gurgler has a few AI cores. Ancient Tech Labs typically have at least 1, make sure to check every container. Ashland domes "bosses" have 1 as well.

At a 90 stealth you can sneak by the spider bots in ruined armories. Just don't stop in their line of sight. Go to the top floor and loot the safes. You should get a few per armory, plus a stack of blues and red books.

Yeah Im able to sneak past the spiders, I checked the swamp, narkos trap, scraphouse, still nothing. I dont think I have a mod that deals with ai cores or tech labs but Ill have to look.

You can go to fish man king,but expect to die fast do to his stats and guards

My general strategy with AI cores is to first loot them from all the ancient ruins and then set up a base in Ashlands so I can farm the rest of the AI cores from those big machines.
