Best armor, best shirts?
For allrounder.
I'm roleplaying a small group of adventurers.

I would say for the shirt leather turtleneck (blackened chainmal comes second), for armor dustcoat. Dustcoat dosen't have to most amazing defense stats but it's extremly good against all sort of environmental effects which makes it an allround armor.

Ok thanks.
Where do I get those stuff (I'm a noob, and I don't like crafting)

I would recommend you learn to like crafting because it's going to be very difficult to get that suff in a high quality. You probably will come across some low quality gear frequently while exploring the game.

armor king has it all. hes located in a river....

I dont need a huge base to craft armor, right? Owning a house with crafting benches would be ok, but I dont like the whole base building stuff.
Sleeping bags and campfires are ok(lol)

you can buy a house in most large cities., you have to put some of the buildings in a shelter /home to use. dont have the complete list off the top of my head but i do know the research table has to be in a building.

Yeah, a single house in city is enough. No need to build a base, just countless hours of crafting stuff to get good.

But if you don't like crafting and don't know the game all that well yet is it always better settle with whatever is available to you and learn the game first. That also gives you an idea what pieces of equipment you need or want.

Yeah, I never figured out how to get crafting tables, beside the reasearch table

I run my squad from Squin. I have 3 of the houses there, and it serves me well without having to contend with raids.

to get crafting tables you have to go through the research tree. basically, research everything you can, go out and find A.I, blueprints, books, engineering pages, ancient books.

This will allow you to research items, like ie: smithing, furnaces, cooking, armor crafting, leather crafting....ect....

You dont have to do crafting, most of the best gear is lootable. i downloaded a mod called "impaler set", didnt have to do much research but was able to craft my entire group some nice armor. made a huge diffrence.

So I have to find stuff to research crafting tables to build them. Ok

heres a nice article on the crafting:

Dustcoat with samurai clothpants and wapping between fogmask and iron hat is a favourite of mine. I usually have that on most of my guys and a couple with full heavy samurai for tanking.

Can I build the crafting stations from the beginning or do I find books and blueprints for them?
qmarkball Mar 20, 2019 @ 1:29pm
after you research them from the research table, then you can use them after its unlocked. The blueprints are for items like hats, armor, food, weapons. the books, engineering manuals, AI cores and books are for the research to get these items.

most of the early research is only from books, you can purchase from most venders in the general stores.
