Reputation rasing
I want to raise my reputation with Sand Ninjas so that they stop raiding my base/are non-hostile upon spotting my characters when running around the Great Desert area. What can I do to accomplish either of the above; as its annoying to be raided or randomly attacked when patrolling when the only thing I want to do is to be a ally to all ninja factions.

(My own faction can take them on, its good combat/base defense practice and a decent supply of iron via Iron Furnace; just super annoying to disarm them; steal, store then melt their weapons, check every Sand Ninja's inventory for stolen food, heal & splint / get rid of corpses, then finally dump the living ones outside my base)

capture a few of them and take them to a slave camp and drop them infront of slavers, then bail them out, set them free by removing their shackles and rinse and repeat. Also heal them every time you fight a group of them. It's tedious and it takes some time but if you really want to be friends with them, then thats your only real choice outside of just going into the game files and editing your relationship with them.

Ravenbolt's got some good info, but also, don't attack them directly when they attack you. Simply let your guys react to their attacking you. I've noticed that if you direct your guys to attack an NPC, you'll lose reputation with the NPC's faction, but if you simply react to being attacked, you won't, or, at least, you'll lose less and possibly none at all.

FWIW, this is the tactic I used that enabled me to take out both Seta and Valtena without losing any Holy Nation faction standing.

Man does healing them seriously take time. I was watching the tick for the Rebel farmers last night because I wanted to see the difference and if you hover over their base it shows you an exact number of your current rep. I think I was getting something like .005 rep per heal. It was either .005 or .05, I'll have to check.

While easy to deal with for Rebel Farmers since they'll break themselves like a wave against everything and present a lot to heal, those ninjas are a doozy.

I tried that on some Holy Nation idiots in Bast who were beat up by only U.N. Samurai, I got zero, as in 0.000 after healing and splinting two Holy Servants and one Paladin.

Hmm. I gotta try healing a UC samurai or something then checking the relations on the map since that's where I'm seeing the tiny fluctuations for the Rebel farmers because maybe I hadn't healed any of them, I normally never bother with that for the main factions. I'll post when I check it but it'll be awhile. I kidnapped two Slave Trader Guards to free two Rebel Farmer faction guys, so I gotta dump these dudes naked in cannibal territory before I can check.

I just now got my base upgraded to wall VI and a Sand Ninja raid comes along. I wipe the floor with them, heal the survivors, and take a few down to a nearby slave camp, dropped them at the entrance as you instructed, lockpicked their shackles and cages, I got zero rep gain.

I don't think Sand Ninjas are a faction you can even gain rep with.

Similarly, the Superpowers I don't think you can gain rep with by heal grinding, UC, SK and HN rep is gained mostly by turning in bounties. Or through major alignment actions.

If you Kill or Turn in Sand Ninja Oni, I think the Sand Ninja Raids stop, but you can't imprison her at your base or you'll suffer constant attacks.

I started off with the "son of a captain" origin, so max UC rep and max Holy Nation hate, I seemed to at least lose some hate from the holy nation by bandaging their paladins and such after attacking their mines and whatnot. Lost most it again by freeing their slaves, though, I think. Reputation is weird...
