FWIW, this is the tactic I used that enabled me to take out both Seta and Valtena without losing any Holy Nation faction standing.
While easy to deal with for Rebel Farmers since they'll break themselves like a wave against everything and present a lot to heal, those ninjas are a doozy.
Similarly, the Superpowers I don't think you can gain rep with by heal grinding, UC, SK and HN rep is gained mostly by turning in bounties. Or through major alignment actions.
If you Kill or Turn in Sand Ninja Oni, I think the Sand Ninja Raids stop, but you can't imprison her at your base or you'll suffer constant attacks.
I started off with the "son of a captain" origin, so max UC rep and max Holy Nation hate, I seemed to at least lose some hate from the holy nation by bandaging their paladins and such after attacking their mines and whatnot. Lost most it again by freeing their slaves, though, I think. Reputation is weird...
