And of course the Non-Prince Hivers.
I don't know why he isn't eating from your backpack though. If he eats off the ground, just try to watch that hunger arrow and drop a food for him when he starts losing nutrition (when the arrow is pointing to the left).
I never figured out if that only applies to Pups or the Fully grown ones too.
It needs some time to digest the food, before more can be eaten.
Adult also has 2.0 hunger rate.
Btw, the Age Modifier will drastically reduce all stats. x0.2 means that only 1/5th of the normal skill result is applied.
So do not wonder if the Pup is glacially slow. This will come more with growing up then training, but the earlier you start training the stronger it will get with age.
If you're referring to Foul Raw Meat, then bonedogs eat that just fine. As do goats.

I recently installed it and it's just one of those small things that reduces micro-management a bit.
On trips, my dogs would eat from the Garru's backpack, but it was inconsistent, sometimes it'd drop into the 220s before they'd - I assume - happen to be in the right position to get the food, or something. So then I'd get a little ocd about it and start dropping food on the ground etc. Their own backpack takes that off my mind.
It's not game-breaking, it's the inventory space of a small backpack, but with stacks upto 3. So you can basically fit 48 Foul Meat in it and they're good for a while. For sale for 1500 cats, I think, at shops that sell other backpacks.
