(That efficiency thing on ore nodes etc... Not totally sure, I haven't looked at that in a while, but I think it's a pretty simplistic indicator that mainly relies on how many people are working the node vs. how many availble spots, but it doesn't take the skills of the workers into account.)
Another quick question do Villages repopulate over time?
one of my Hive villages (the one near my base) Got mostly wiped bye beak things and i am wondering if they are gonna secure it agein at some point (currently gotta run from house to house while the ocassional guy steps out of the door)
They should slowly re-populate over time, but I'm not quite sure how this works either.
Because I have a base near a Hive Village as well, and its population was also whittled down significantly by Beak Things. And the population doesn't seem to grow back, it's been at a constant 21 inhabitants for the past... I dunno, 150-200 days or something.
So I'm thinking perhaps it will only restore once the zone becomes inactive (which isn't going to happen any time soon, with my main base nearby.)
