Combat Speed - Wooden Sandals & MG Plated Boots

There seems to be no difference when using those 2 armors. The only difference is WS has Combat Speed Buff. The other do not. In Light/Heavy Armor performance is the same even when donning WS. Does the WS combat speed buff really work now?

Mouse over the athletics skill when running and see the % change. The higher the skill get the more noticeable the difference is.

I do not doubt your types regarding the athletics skills. I am more leaning towards the combat speed buff. With light/heavy armor - Samurai helmet/armor/ leg plates / wooden sandals - not much diff. in combat speed. Even minus the helmet/leg plates it performs the same. With light armor this is more glaring. Armed with light weapons the strikes dealt by PC is lesser than the ones delivered by NPC.

AFAIK, the Combat Movement Speed is not the same as Attack/Block speeds. It's how fast they move while they're in combat, not how fast they attack. This is critical for moving to engage a target and for repositioning, etc.

Understand this. That is why i asked this issue. Donning Helmet/headgear/leg covering that gives no debuff for this, with armor that does & using WS should make the combatant have a normal combat speed. However donning full Samurai Suit, there is no difference with using only 1 piece.
