To get rid of the "stolen" tag, drop the sword into a weapon storage box that you own. Ditto with stolen armor, drop it in a armor crate you own to get rid of the tag.
Yes, you can get all the Nobles weapons and stay allied with them if you like as long as you aren't spotted in the act of knocking em out and stealing their stuff. Personally, I kidnap Tengu and all the UC nobles then drop them naked in the middle of the largest fogman camp I can find. Their cries of pain as they're devoured are music to my ears, they have it coming to em.
Well I'm not quite sure how I want to repaint the map yet on this play through yet.... It's still relitively early on this play through and being allied with UC early game is useful. Also I like selling Hanash to the UC.... I knnda think it be funny to kidnap tengu and the HN high priest dude whats his name.... and lock them up together and see what happens.
