Btw some job is harder to trigger auto sleeping than other for e.g. manufacturing is harder than farming is harder than foraging animals, job that have more idle time is preferable.
Job that will not trigger auto sleep that i noticed -bodyguard (unless the guarded character go to sleep then it will relinquish bodyguard duty) and also turret manning.
Thx
Like below, they will auto sleep / take a seat when idle. For auto sleep, they will auto wake up when health is 90 and not 100

Ah, I see where you coming from, your character is clogged with many jobs if turn on. In your case, better to sleep manually / reduce their job assignment if you want auto sleep
I noticed that character on standby for order (when we select them) will not do auto things
Set AI control panel to auto sleep, assign jobs as normal. Fight at outpost ensues, player then simply "lassos" all characters involved, and disables the Jobs button for a bit.
Would this note work as the character does not currently have any job active? Seems a simple one button click is much better than clicking on each character and manually moving them to a bed.
The job button below the passive button need to be active for auto sleep to activate and the character don't need to have any actual job, like engineering/medic/splint rigging. In fact the more idle that character can be the better.
I suspect it will work even if we cleared all job from the list, but i haven't try it yet.
Also don't select the character, character waiting for order will not sleep and sit automatically.
I noticed this when i go back to the center of my base with group of 20-25, when i enable the job function (all of them only have medic and splint rigging, some engineering) , all character will disperse from the center of the city to all direction to either sit/sleep except for the character that i'm selecting will still stand in the same spot and will not go do his/her things automatically
