Ao Oni and Aka Oni NPCs

I have no idea if these 2 guys I captured are from a mod or vanilla game but they strong af both having a 120,000 cat bounty and from a faction called "evil spirits" and wondering if they are recruitable in anyway.

Edit: I found them guarding yellow quility gear in a place called oni castle in the crater.

I think those have to be from a mod. I've got the game editor open now and don't see any faction called Evil Spirits. Or know of anything like that in the base game.

So you'd have to figure out which mod they come from and check up on that

That is certainly a mod. The name Oni is enough alone to scream that a modder made it.

Sounds like the sort of thing a weeb makes actually. Oni being from japanese culture & the fact that they had an entire castle full of yellow quality gear?

Just ran into these guys. Didnt bother to check their stats and got wrecked. One of my top guys with 70 stats died and another top guy lost two limbs.

Yeah did the same I sent in the best guys I had and they got oofed but when I sent in one and had him fight one at a time he won because of his attack speed

Not to be the bearer of bad news or anything, but there is a character named "Sand Ninja Oni" in the vanilla game.
You can probably guess who they are by name alone.

You are correct there was a episode where he tried to cant remember which series it was from. I just sacked oni castle with a 40 man crew knocked them out in a few sec. My dudes are in the 70s to 90s with masterwork samurai armor, luxury falling suns and masterwork mk3 power arms so we crushed em nearly killed them outright.

I have the recruit anyone mod that even lets you get the phoenix and can't talk to them so sadly no they cant be recruited.

The earlier-cited mod is a bundle that includes this mod. The Oni guys and the Oni Castle in the Crater are originally from this weapon mod.

I don't even bother getting their weapons anymore, since despite being fun-looking, it's a very rare unmodded character who can use them effectively.

What should I do if they are not in the old place? They disappeared from me at one point and there is no gold loot
I did the transfer, I downloaded a new game, there are none

You should contact the mod creator and ask them.

yes, they can be recruited, I put them in a cage and for 15 minutes I clicked on the first and then on the second option of the dialogue, I succeeded.

yes, they can be recruited, I put them in a cage and for 15 minutes I clicked on the first and then on the second option of the dialogue, I succeeded.

Did you have any other mods installed? I have recruitable prisoners and this, but I can not get the option to recruit the Oni. I specifically have the Ao Oni in a cage.
