how to chose weapon to fight with

so i have 3 weapons on me .. how do i chose which weapon the character will use to fight on?

Wep slot 1 is what they use by default, wep slot 2 is what they use when 1 arm is disabled

So, what ever you want them to use, throw it into wep slot 1

Characters preffer to use their primary weapon (the large weapon slot on top is the primary weapon slot), and will usually automatically switch to secondary weapons if they cannot use their primary anymore (from having one of their arms get badly injured for example), or if there is an advantage to the secondary, like switching to a wakizashi when fighting indoors if you have a heavy weapon equipped in your primary slot (larger weapons get heavy bonuses when fighting indoors).

If you have 2 single handed weapons in the primary weapon slot, they will usually use whichever one is the most powerful. Dual wielding doesn't exist in Kenshi, so carrying more than a single weapon in your primary slot is only for looks.

The secondary slot weapon is also utilized indoor if you have a big weapon with maluses for indoor fighting in the primary one.

Also, if by chance you have 2 small weapons in the primary slot, you'll use the best quality one as far as I checked.

Maybe a stupid extra point, you have to equip the weapons in one of the 2 slots, your charcter won't pick them from his/her inventory automatically.

so he choses himself .. just wanted to know, i am wearing 3, cuz i want to look dope .. but my third weapon was a stick and in a big fight, he decided to use the stick .. lost my head :D thought i did something wrong. Thanks.
