Flotsam Ninja Story Arc

Hey guys, so im rolling with the flotsam, was able to sneak into Orkrans Shield and Kidnap Valtena and hand him over to Moll.

So now she wants us to take down stack, and mentioned I can get some of the flotsam ninjas to ally up with me, wondering how I do this, I've met some patrols and cant seem to talk to them, same with the ninjas in the towns or outposts so kinda confused

I have the notes from moll that would allow it but still, no dialogue bubble ever pops up. I also heard it has to be some leader flotsams to talk to, are they the Flotsam "Jonins" or are they different.

are you trying to talk to the squad leaders? not all of the ninjas in a squad have the dialogue option. but the squad leader definitely should if you have the note in a nearby character's inventory.

The note allows you to turn any Flotsam patrols into your mercenary for 2 days. Find a patrol and talk to the leader with your crew that carrying the note to enable the dialogue.

So does it have to be patrolling Flotsams? like not ones just chilling in the village, cus I havent seen much of them (to be fair a dropped the number of squads in the options a bit)

Also, they dont have a specific name do they? Its just the lead of whichever patrol group yeah?
