Ponicus, WOAH i didnt think anyone ever saw my Distant Worlds graphic mods (which to be fair were mostly compilations of other works, with some tweaks and additions of my own).
Are they still compatible with the game? I've literally lost all files from those days =(
None for Kenshi atm, if any it would probably be minor but high-frequency things.
So not new models or total retextures, but stuff you see and use every minute, so possibly UI things or icons.
Huminado, not on the workshop because you'd have to manually move it out of the mods folder and into the main folder, plus the .dll from http://reshade.me isnt often allowed to be bundled with mods, so it was better just to make a forum thread i felt.
Sorry, i'm stupid. I downloaded the .rar and unpacked it in the steamapps>common>Kenshi file. I don't see anything to install, do I just leave it there?
Edit: For clarity, it's a regular file titled "Baleur Reshade Kenshi" amongst the other files like "data, dependencies, locale" etc
So you should see dxgi.dll and ReShade.fx and a new ReShade folder in your Kenshi folder.
Those 3 things are all thats needed, you can delete the .rar file after unpacking it.

Really liking the brighter and more stark contrast, huge props for making this!

Pretty heavy and very cinematic (maybe even too much to just play it) but stil...
Btw nice reshade mate!
Updated the main post with more screens.
Basically less than 1fps impact for anything above a 860gtx :P
I was considering adding some minor chromatic aberration (a very subtle addition can make objects really "pop" and give a distinct heat-effect), but that would affect preformance a few fps more at high resolutions, im running in 4k so i opted not to.
Might give it a try and post some example screens if people like it as an alternative.
Yeah do that and post screenshots! Option is always nice!
whats scroll lock ?
