Where are suitable Swamp base locations?

I tend to like swamp biomes in all games but the aesthetics in Kenshi piss me off. It's so hard to navigate and annoying to deal with the roots all over the place. I want to set up a hemp farm close to multiple major cities but from the areas I've explored it doesn't really seem feasible. Are there any other locations besides The Swamp and South Wetlands? Any areas that are flat and don't have a ton of roots around them? I was thinking maybe the river leading to Clownsteady but that's the only major city nearby and I'd unfortunately have swamps to the North and East and the Crater to the west making travel very tedious.

The Burning near Shem or The Burning Forest were my second choices but Shem isn't swampy at all and the Burning forest is very difficult to build in due to trees and terrain. Also annoying fog.

The northern edge of the swamps right up against the border lands allows you to grow swamp and arid biomes within the same base since it counts as swamp for a short distance after the start of the sandy ground. Very close to Squin, a Waystation, and the northern swamp villages.
