Prisoner Recruitment MOD need help!
I have recruit prisoners mod and I’ve been trying figure out how to go into creation tool and change the chance to recruit certain groups like paladins for example, instead of it being like %10 chance, bc I’ve tried for multiple days and I cannot recruit certain npcs. Hunger bandits no problem and others easy but the harder ones I just can’t get no matter what. Anyone help a brotha out?!

the author will probably respond on his mods comment section. i have tried to tame many holies and only tamed 1 servant out of at least 50 tries. i guess it was a low random chance.

You're wanting to know how to edit workshop mods if im reading it correctly?

go to your kenshi workshop folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\233860
each mod will be in a folder named with numbers. Not sure which one you're using, so i couldn't tell you the folder number. Just search each one until you find it.

Copy the folder to here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kenshi\mods
Then go into the mod folder, and find the .MOD file, and rename it so it's not the same as the original. Then rename the mod folder to the exact same as the .MOD file.

It should show up in the mod editor once you've done this.

its possible i had a criteria i was unaware of that allowed me to recruit a holy servant, who shares the same dialogue with paladins. i asked him to become our priest and he actually agreed.

yea that sounds right.. funny thing is- my very first attempt at taming anyone was a successful holy servant. i also have a slave mod that is a little to cheaty because you can order your slave to join the squad essentially he becomes a colonists on your list, theres random chances also in that but its too easy to tame high levs with that mod, but its a fun mod if you dont use that option, because the slaves who you dont order to join colony will act sometimes unpredictably like rebel and stuff as they should.

i mostly raised a ragtag army consisting of rejects and bandits, because of how i set up my base they go from lev 2 skills to 40's in a short period of time and i do nothing except put them on auto follow after they train on some dummies. its a passive training center to take hungries and turn them into militia grade units where they're garunteed free meals and full medical coverage.

haha i have somewhat of a similar setup. i started by the hub and have recruited a bunch of rejects and bandits myself making them slave for me doing all my laboring while my modded race from "TOKYO GHOUL" train combatant stats preparing for the war on the holy nation. im very close to raiding the holy nation kingdom, just need another 10 people or so trained. i also changed the paladins recruitment amount to 99% (cheaty i know!) and any paladins that accpet right away become my ♥♥♥♥♥ to fight against their own kind while the ones who said no (that 1% chance is on them now! muahahaha!!!) have been getting crucified in front of every holy city gate! haha i know im evil but ♥♥♥♥ them!! ONLY ISSUE NOW IS MY GATES JUST LET PEOPLE WALTZ RIGHT THROUGH EVEN WHEN CLOSED AND LOCKED! tried everything i could think of to fix it even shift+f12 and rerouted nav meshings

i am just 300m south of their western gate, we put up their crap for a long time, about 1.5 kenshi years, and had to sit by silently as they took Molly from us, and not the drug. they sent a named called Blamo who we captured and with no option to recruit we executed him. theyve sent many more after that and eventually sent a High Inquisitor Seta in an all out holy war vs us. After he dismembered about 12 OG members he finally fell, was captured and converted. i dont like to use him a whole lot outside of defense because he is beast af, 70's in all kinds of combat and like 80 strength.

stack recently captured a colonist and were starving him out in a stack cage, bringing us some much needed drama. we arrived in time after about 2 weeks with food cubes and an assasin from the traders guild we had converted, fed and freed him.

we were forming up outside the gates to provide a distraction but the assasin was skilled enough to not need one and carried the emaciated member past the gate guards and to safety. but my OG shot caller, EL BROSTACHIO, is not satisfied with that and demands an assault on stack anyway. that got interupted by a crash as i was observing my new colonist i named Crusterd. no matter were coming for them no crash will save them.

i never seen the gate bug out like that yet i did have a piece of wall that wasn't actually there and couldnt be deleted

Most modding starts with firing up the FCS tool kenshi came with.
Guessing then it would be making a new mod and editing in that mod the temporary chance in the dialogue.
I could recruite a holy paladin as following. First i had to recruit a holy merchant for 20k, then he could talk to a holy paladin and recruite him. then the holy paladin could recruite the holy overseer. and the holy overseer can recruite easily a holy paladin. It seems like holy ooverseer can spam the dialoge as many times as he want while other characters cant do it so fast?
