What do i need to safely travel in Black Desert City as a non skeleton?

80% acid resist seems to be enough. And some shoes.

So a dustcoat and i'm set? Skeletons wont attack me if i'm just 100% greenlander group?

Dustcoat seems to be enough, I guess being at 80% might lower your regen a little bit but I've never seen it damage me. Skeles have always been neutral to me.

The skeletons in the city aren't aggressive.

You can actually sprint through the acid rain to the city with no acid protection at all as long as your athletics is decent (50+) and you approach the from the east or west, west is easiest, when you get to town head into the bar and sit at a table or something for a little bit to heal up. Make sure to wear shoes though, you can't make it if your feet melt off half way.

If you're worried about acid protection though, an ashland hat is plenty at 50% acid and duststorm protection.

If you decide to say "screw it" and make a mad dash through the acid in your skivvies, just make sure to keep an eye out for old security spiders, they like to hide among their busted and rusted brethren in the deadlands.

also make sure to follow them as they run toward the city.. some of my recruits decided it was a good idea to swim through the acid lakes instead of using the land route..

Yeah my main setup is rattan hat, dustcoat and drifter's leather pants. 110% protection.

Dustcoat + iron hat give you 115% protection, and the armor is not too bad.
