what do you feed garru?
i have two pack beasts and i dont know what theyll eat

Meat until they get fix for like wheat or greenfruit. Fresh or rotten will work and also it should say in the tool tip if you hover over those two meats. Hope this helps!

Animals will eat anything, even ration packs, so watch out.

Foul meat is obviously the best, simply because it's the only use (why did they remove Gristle Flaps???) but animals have high metabolisms, so eat a lot.

Bonedogs can eat limbs, when you get Elder Bone Dogs, you don't have to feed them anymore, as they'll start ripping off limbs and eating them. One leg/arm is like 100NU to a bone doggo.

No. Cactus is not food, its an ingridient to craft food. Same applies to wheat, greenfruit, riceweed.

My garru ate greenfruit raw when i was transporting some in his backpack, so that might be a mod but ive seen it happen.

They eat everything edible but rotten meat might be cheapest to get.
