I was in Mongrel just about to leave after depositing yet another half eaten Escaped Prisoner into a bed at the inn. I only brought these guys here as they'd lost a limb, the other guys I'd free'd were left to roam to their likely death.

Then unfortunately Beep spotted me & came over beeping away & loitering in front of me waiting for me to talk to him. Not today Beep, as much as I love you I can't bring you along on this journey as it's just me & my dogs.

So I left Mongrel & Beep decided he wanted to follow me...GRRRR!!!!.

The last thing I wanted was him to follow me into the fog as we all know what would happen. Sure enough, he got attacked & tied to a damn pole...stupid Beep. So of course I had to run back & free him.

Took him back to the inn to sleep it off next to the other 2 unfortunates I'd put there the previous day & 3 days before that. Seems they may stay there for ever due to missing a leg apiece.

I sat outside the inn keeping my eyes on him to see if he would try & follow me again as soon as he woke up but no.... he did something even better.

He walked over to one of the invalid Escapee's I'd put into a bed some 3 game days earlier & stole his clothers & crossbow from right in front of his face hahahaha.

Beep has gone up in my estimation now.

I have been playing a game with 6 scorchlanders. Wasn't going to recruit anybody else. My first two games Beep died within the first 30 minutes after getting him. So anyway .... I recruited him again. Figured I would just put him on my shoulder and run him back to my base and make him farm. In full samurai armor.

I did that. I put him in his own squad and left him there by himself while my group did other stuff. I figured if he died, whatever. He tried to defend the place. Kept getting knocked out, but getting back up. Amazingly didn't lose a limb right off the bat or anything. His toughness and defense started getting pretty decent. So I got him a bonedog pup I named Scooter to follow him around.

So I am attacking a Holy Nation military base when a couple of my characters get stuck where I can't lfit them out. I reload with reset squad positions and suddenly Beep and Scooter are there in the base with me and The Holy Nation beats them both to within an inch of their lives. I barely get them out of there and we rest up and I start heading back to base to drop them off.

Beep starts talking ♥♥♥♥ about how now that he is the strongest warrior, he needs to find tougher enemies to fight. One of my girls tells him that he isn't the strongest warrior and his limbs are too fragile. Then he goes on about how he also needs to meet some beautiful human women, which really set her off. Then Beep says he didn't know she was a human woman, or something to that effect. I was rolling laughing by this point and should have got a screenshot of the conversation, but did not.

I'm also trying to do a solo kung-fu run, and it's reeally hard not to recruit Beep. He keeps following me into the fog and getting beat up, I keep saving his hide and fixing him up. He's starting to get a lot stronger, he's growing up. And I'm so proud.

Yeah, that's the conversation. Thanks for sharing the screen. The timing of it all was just too perfect, considering he just came soooo close to dying because he was in way over his head.

Gonna run to Mongrel & grab Beep, poor guy has been there for months waiting for me (someone, anyone) I just know it.

My playthrough was supposed to be a 1 man & his dogs playthrough but despite my resistance I somehow picked up a few down & outs & couldn't let them go so I now it's time to bring Beep into my squad. Just because....

I have 21 very powerfull Elder bonedogs who will bodyguard him with their life, and believe me when I say they have been unfazed by anything so far.

...actually, I'll rephrase that, Beep will now have 21 bonedogs as I'll gladly hand the reigns over as I know he'll enjoy that "power" and I know my dogs will love him too (and be the ones having to take care of Beep in reality...lol) ;o))

I might take all the other guys elsewhere to retire in a new town (Beepville???) while Beep can conquer the rest of the land I haven't conquered yet.... the hardest part. Go get'em Beep, do me proud!!!!

Agnu is female (or identify as such, more likely). The dialogue I linked earlier in this thread have a new interjection from Agnu. When Beep ask who else is female, Agnu say Agnu ! Beep says "BEEP !?" and faint. Literally, he is set to be unconscious for 5s or something.

It's so cute to see love blossom where it's the least expected.
