Too many carbs, you're giving everyone diabetes.
INSULIN RESISTANCE!
Note that food items with higher than 50nu are good for multiple meals...they won't eat it all at once. A 125-nu Ration Pack, for example, might last several days (it's also, however, extremely expensive and non-vanilla-craftable...I think there's mods for that though).
Space & weight may or may not be significant consideration depending on situation. Example: Cooked vegetable offers 20nu at weight 1kg, but takes up a 3x3 block in inventory. Dried fish gives that same 20nu at 1kg...but in a 1x3 footprint, only a third of the space. That may be meaningless if hanging out in town or own base doing crafting jobs, laboring, etc. But not so meaningless if outfitting for a long ruin-looting expedition in the wilds. A weight example: 20-nu Chewsticks are only 0.5kg; at 40nu per kg, by far the most weight-efficient of the simpler lower-tier foods.
Obtw somewhat food-management related: Sleeping isn't just for healing injuries faster; it also carries a 0.33x hunger rate. So if food conservation is a concern and you happen to have a character who might be idle for several hours or more, plop 'em in bed. Similarly, sitting down carries a hunger-reduction modifier as well (I forget the exact number)...so worthwhile to enable "Sit when Idle" in AI tab and sprinkle a few stools around in your buildings. And in bars, sitting is free while beds cost money.
More than I initially intended to type; hope all that helps to answer your question.
I don't know the numbers but i am interested in the subject:-)
For 75 Nu and on average around 300-400c.
To put that into perspective, another food with 75 Nu would be Foodcube, which often costs more than 800 or 900c. Over double the price for the same amount of nutritions.
The only downside with Gohan is its size, taking 3x3 inventory space per unit.
If money is not an issue, and you just want to pack as much food as possible, then Ration Packs is the choice of food to take with you, as its size is only 2x2, while packing a whopping 125 Nu. They are expensive, but having the highest nutrition value per unit than any other food, their cost per nutrition is not too bad.
Dried meat is good, because to get meat, you fight animals and that make you stronger (Turtle Swamp, in the plateau above Clownsteady should be accessible to beginner - just avoid the swamp to get there!).
You should also consider stealing food to gain a few thievery/sneak skill point. Very easy even in the beginning: Temples in Holy Nation are empty in the night. Also aim for buildings that have barrels on the roof and no guards!
