Are the Blood Reavers now joinable?
Been some time since I last checked or played and I'd rather not confuse people by necroing my old thread.

I haven't been able to. Not by being enslaved nor hanging out with their boss, even though what the boss says seems to indicate he's willing to accept me.

you can:

1) try to keep them happy and enter "Ark" without aggo.
2) open editor and check is logic and dialogs related to joining ever exist, this is shortcut way, that may prevent you from discovering something interesting in "designed" way.

I've entered the Ark without aggro, they randomly yell stuff and attack you inside. Leader has no chat options even before combat.

I've went inside with no aggro, walked with the guy until his huge amount of dialogue is finished (had to keep reloading because some random scrub would get antsy and make everyone dogpile on me) and there is no dialogue to talk to him to officially join even after that.

Just my luck that the one bandit faction I want to join is the only one broken right now lol.

atm only crabs viable, they have shop with unique blueprints.

The crab raiders are the only one that offers something players might care about.

- Blueprints
- New exclusive animal
- Unique recruit

The other groups are basically just themed bandits. The other 3 factions need to have something of value.

- Nothing
- Non crab themes?

The degree of work put into the other 3 would suggest they aren't intended as serious options.

Well first of they could have the Reavers sell blueprints for Hack Stopper stuff and let you bring them slaves or opposite factions' characters.

Skin bandits would be easy, bring them humans for skin. They could also add stats and weather protection to the skin suit and let players get a BP for it, just reskin it (heh) and make it an animal skin suit if the devs are too wimpy to let players craft skin with bandits. It'd give prisoner cages another use for storage and peeler machines bp could also be obtained from them.

Skeleton bandits could be a nice way of having a use for all those robotic related junk items you find in ruins, give em the stuff, you get rep, oh and make them sell blueprint for skeleton mask.

Really obvious stuff to be honest, don't even have to think about it.

tbh the entire south-east still feels kind of half-done. I'd like to see the bandit groups get some love, but also the southern hive should feel more than higher-level fogmen, cat-lon should mean something to someone, and to a lesser extent Mourn should be convertible to a place that isn't serially wrecked by all the fauna and is actually not dying. And maybe something with the fishmen too, though if you want them to be the higher level foggies, that's cool too.

Edit: While i"m spewing out a wishlist, the nw could use some love too. Like being able to re-establish Deadcat and drive back/exterminate the cannibals.
