Dexterity training

hello everyone, i got a question, im kinda new to this game,
any idea how i train up my Dexterity the fastest, i train strength and melee damage very fast but i lack Dexterity the most,
so any tips or tricks are mostly welcome :D

Dexterity is trained by lightweight weapons with high cutting-to-blunt damage ration. Using swords in the Katana class is pretty much the best way to train Dexterity. A low grade Nodachi is generally agreed to be the best weapon for training. Martial Arts are a good way to train aswell.

does armour matter? light or heavy armour? or can i just train it aswell with heavy armour on?

does armour matter? light or heavy armour? or can i just train it aswell with heavy armour on?

the dexterity training is hit based, with heavy armour you will do less wits so you'll be training slower, go with medium armour and katana class

i will try it :D because i think Dex can win battles speed is the key and the damage build up by stength if im correct :)

Yeah with high dex + high weapon skill you turn into an unstoppable, untoucheable whirl of destruction :P

Also if i understood correct, dexterity only increases speed if you use weapons that use dexterity as a stat eg katanas, and strenght makes you faster with heavy weapons?

aye, right, at least it seems so. I stole the meitou fragment axe from the Queen once with my low lvl (combat untrained) char and got his STR to 95 via "encumber yerself and carry stuff" method. Damn, he was swinging that AX like it was a wooden stick XD. Then trained DEX a bit and didn't notice any diff in swing speed, though maaaaybe it does affect it BUT only after you reach 90+?.. Maybe it's unnoticeable for pure blunt weap dmg weaps if you already got your STR high? My guess - DEX only does affect pure DEX or DEX/STR weaps, and doesn't affect pure STR weaps (0.00 slash dmg ones).

The best way to train is to use turrets or xbows (though turrets have infinite ammo and much better accuracy). Build a base somewhere in the Fog, or on the Cannibal Plains, preferably on a busy patrol route. Bonus if you piss off all major factions, capture their nobles and your base is assaulted 8 times a day.

Or you can equip some rusty blade and chop people to pieces. This works too.

use to worst katana you can get, with this the fight with last longer, so more hits= more xp earned, get light or medium armour and try to not fight more than 1 vs 1, dont fight group with more guys than yours

you can fight hungry bandits withotu risk . can fight river raptors without risk, after some training you can fight dust bandits and escaped servants, after some training go to the fog and you wont have many problems if you choose wisely your fight, after some training go to cannibal plains, and just do the same thing with stronger enemies every time

i will try it :D once i get home again :) with not to heavy armour, because i got on all kinda heavy armour just so i wont die, even i die pretty fast even if i got pretty good gear :) i quess it is because i lack Dex, strngth is like 50 while dex is 15-16 :(

heav armour its worth when you have high overall stats, just fight weak enemies and let you skills grow
