No stone anywhere on map

I have looked everywhere, there no stone mines on my map. I have re downloaded the game, started a new game as well. I feel kind of silly for making the post but any help would be great! thank you

The stones are released through search and made by a machine called Stone Mine in the construction menu.

They seem to be made in a natural way just like copper and iron right. Weird Lol ....

Stone doesn't have a node like copper and iron, its underground and mined, prospect to see it

Stone Mines are resource production buildings that generate the raw material Raw Stone and at higher upgrade levels Building Materials directly.

The amount and rate of stone gathered will be dependant on where the mine is built. A character should use Prospecting to find a suitable location.

hit the prospect button in different area, select stone and try to find areas with the brightest green. Then go there and build a stone mine..look for the % numbers on your prospective mine, try to havr that percentage at 100% .you may have to research that first...cant remember....

Stone mines are built. I'm mostly sure they are a stock building you can build, dont need to be researched. Sorta weird that you build a stone mine unlike Iron and Copper, but I guess stone is common.

So go building mode, select mining and you should see stone mine. Then move the mine position around like BigRowdy (above) said to find a high % spot!
