Bounty Collection Bug?

Are bounties working at the moment? I just turned my guy in by placing him in a cage at the Police Station in Stack, he had a holy nation 20k bounty on him. But I didn't get paid. So I was wondering if theres a known bug or do we not get paid for turning in our own people?

Talk to police Captain. He will take the captive and put him/her into the cage. Then you receive yor money.

What option did you select when you talked to the police chief?

You need to select the option that 'talks about my payment' or the like. If I recall correctly it's the second option. If you chose the first option then you've turned the bounty as a service to the Holy Nation and you don't get paid because you're such a humble, devoted Okranite. If you choose the correct one the Police will lecture you about greed but at least you'll get paid.

Got a bounty of 8k on me. I should get one of my squad member to turn me in for the bounty then I escape. Unfortunatly we are red to them now as we raided rebirth and free slaves.

When I try to talk to the inquisitor he just says dont talk to me wretched woman. He does that whether I've put my guy in the cage first or not. Meaning if I talk to him with my guy, who has the bounty on him, over her should he says that. Then if I reload my save and put my guy in the cage first then talk to him he says the same thing. Either way I dont get paid.

That's correct. You must have a Male Greenlander with you or doing the interaction. Scorchlander Males are also supposed to be tolerated, but I'm not sure if they still are. I don't have any, so I can't test it.

They don't despise women, they beleive they're tainted by the dark goddess Narko and don't want their own souls to be corrupted. So when dealing with the Inquisitors in particuar, the Law Enforcement and Justice System of their Civ, you know they will be very devout. I know their opinion of women. I just thought that if they called one of my girls Sister and accepted her that they'd allow her to turn in a bounty. Oh well. No biggie. i was just hoping to get the bounty removed from my guys head.

Yeah, that sucks. If you need, you can just hire one of the "nameless ronin" in the nearest bar, use him to make the bounty, and then keep or ditch the guy. Boom, no more bounty for you, possible new clan member, or just the fastest 3K Credits he's ever made and back to his beer in an hour.

lol I thought about it. But, from what I seen while waiting for a reply to the first post. It seems the bounty does not ever get removed. Someone, or several someones, told me they didn't think it got removed but I wanted to be sure. While waiting I had my guy break out of jail and hide in a residence I bought for 2k. He still had the bounty when the 24hrs escape timer ended. Or i think he did. I've now played so many reruns of it I can't be sure. plus all the other games I've played.

Next new start I'll try the 5 that start with nothing. If they have no bounties on them then I'll keep playing them. Otherwise I'll have to start a single player start and build up to 5+ for my colony.
