Slave buying problems...
1. Stone Camp has no slaves for sale, it's night time and all slaves are in their cages.
2. Still problems with slavers attempting to attack and then recapture slaves. It seems to happen half the time. Starving Vagrants and Outlaw Farmers to be specific. If they immediately join you on purchase it bypasses this problem. They aren't acting like they're escaped slaves, they're attacking them for being vagrants/outlaw farmers. But it happens...roughly half the time. Other times they do NOT attack them.
3. If #2 happens, if I pick them up before the slavers try to take them again, after healing they will stand completely still and not do anything. I've run halfway across the desert and back and they're still standing there. My pointer turns green like they are my ally. Their AI goes bonkers. Maybe if I didn't take them to the Bar to heal and then take them somewhere in the desert it wouldn't break, but urgh...it takes so long for them to get back up at -70 something...

In all cases I did not sell these slaves to them. One guy I carried into the slaver trader bulding and dropped on the floor though who suffered #2.

funny i so far had 1 succesfull buy 2 failure buys and 1 did i buy but set himself free at the slave station got nok out and put in cage again. lucky i keep a savegame before it happens if i wane try buy a slave.

but i currently have 1 escaped outlaw farmer in my sqaud i was hauling him up and down in desert once i unlocked his chains i needed a extra sqaud member then + the stats they already have dont need the training then the once in the pubs and bars you buy most of them are LOW and need a lot of training but i cant cry about that i mean they just cost 3K unless its a special person.

owh yeah and 1 time i had a sqaud member ♥♥♥♥ up bij trying to unlock somebodys chains infront of united cities gates. got a bounty on his head for 135.000 for the act of terrorisme. its very unlikely to be exploited but stil if that member wassent worth my attention that would have been a nice payday.

owh yeah sometimes a slave you buy doesnt appear had it happen 1 time

The thing is I wanted to only recruit freed slaves. I wasn't planning on trying to help any stranded slaves/escaped slaves who wander far away from the Stone Camp or cities. I did this in my last game, there were 8 people out there and I recruited 4 of them this way. It felt cheating. But the freaking slave caravan is emptying all the shops, then won't sell them at the Stone Camp!!!

Guess I should try the ports or the Holy Mines if I can get there without certain death. Gotta keep that robotic arm off so the stupid heretics don't go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy...

Holy nation is almost surely gone be anyones enemy eventully. there a annoying faction to deal with and very holyness with very little logic senses.

My start of was a trader and a bull and almost zero skills so once i could get me a bounty taken from the battlefield including loot i was set and ready to get my slave and wel sometimes you can get very good recruits out of slaves due of stats. i stil need to find a barber to fix his hair and hopefull change name xd but stil with out this slave my start would have been way harder but i rather have them as free warriors in my sqaud. but if youre looking to stack up on hivers for like youre own workcamp i would suggest keeping incheck with slaver shops. at the moment im just wandering on the map collecting my warriors and maybe slave recuits next to that. and i also hope to make a base eventully but need more sqaudmembers to have a succesfull start.

some days ago i did try to build a base with like 5 a 6 guys eventully i couldnt build up my army was stuck on 7 and never had city gaurds or something almost every guy on work jobs and also when a invassion came most of time i would lose all my industry/goods to sell and produce =( incapacitated workforce is a horrible thing if you try to run a bissness

The last time I made a base I had 22 guys. A dozen of them sat on crates in front of the gate and another 4 on the turrets. But that's getting off topic.

ive noticed serten slaves dont wane get enslaved or if you buy them they say screw you and try to escape then get captured again and you had nothing for the money i do need to say the slave system is broke to a serten point.

its acctuly a wonder i converted 1 slave outlaw farmer to my own imported char at a plastic surgeon but like releveling a skill tree of a recruit takes time getting a high end slave reduced the time but currently there very annoying to get it done right sometimes you pay for slaves and they just dont show up or they say screw you....

clearly a slave boss tells them they have no name famly or faction to abid to if there in captivety stil they remain rebelious and keep incontact with there faction i think the mechanic of slave system is a bit broken to be honest.

or they dont beat them enough to break there inner will or they just dont comply to the fact there a slave with no free will.

i mean just picture being in a cage and getting serten options A go be a miner slave in some brutal camp have nothing to eat B be a succesfull escaped slave and wandere in free world again. and they stil defy me ... urgh...

only had 1 succesfull slave so far that i got compleety free from all bonds in kenshi on him but stil the whole process is a annoying endever

I'm happy to report that Port North is working correctly. Stone Camp didn't actually have the slave shop SIGN even though it acts like it is supposed to be one...so maybe it's just broke?

I bought 3 slaves...ne of the slaves I bought, I believe tried to steal something a few seconds after because the guards were shouting "thief" and "burglar". Well...yeah. I did notice that the slaves will loot bodies so this could have happened. One instant joined, the other followed by didn't join.

Then I instant recruited a Sand Ninja that had just attacked me and followed me to town, and a Starving Vagrant that I just dropped on the slave shop floor a few minutes ago. :D

Nice for my way fo playing to actually function correctly.

@[BLA]Unmortal It works pretty well actually. When it is not being stupid. I have a team of 6 now, all 5 of my recruits were purchased slaves. I've heard that improving relations with the factions you are purchasing increases their join chances. When you buy a slave one of 3 things happens. 1. They instantly join you. 2. They follow you around and either decide to join you or thank you and go their own ways. 3. The AI bugs out and the guards attack the slave or the slave does something stupid to get attacked for. Oh and do not try to buy a slave you sold into slavery. Because uh...I'm 0 for 5 and it might be a flat 0% chance.

hmm probaly the reason i cant buy any outlaw farmers anymore due of hostile faction same for sand ninjas i got my outlaw farmer slave before it was in war with the rebel farmers. so maybe i was lucky not being attacked for food while i was in that town.

anyways this means normal slaves will work unless i have a diffrent faction slave with neutral relations i can try to get those easyer probaly.

stil i find slaver system broke to some extend i mean in old days a slave was a slave he or she do what he master askes of him or atherwise a cruel penalty or death or ather ways of torture.

my opinion stays i think if people wane go slaver/warlord and get slaves and so on they should also have possibiltys to command the slave to obey.

with this i mean i bought the slave hes my problem now city gaurds shouldnt harras my slave back into the cage i should have the free will to do what i want with his life.

like beating him up until i get yes for a answer instead of no and no.

because the realy problem with this slave system is i spend cats on a slave and it wont obey or join me meaning ive wasted effort and resources for a slave that doesnt work in a proper way.

i hope you see my point on the subject

also the system is broke if you recall what the slaver shop owner keeps repeating against the slaves it schould have been a clear indication that they have no free will of there own.

p.s i might sound harsh on the realty of kenshi but dont forget the whole game is brutal and i find it very odd that its slave system issent working properly in my eyes.

A lot of the generic ones have "outlaw" as their faction. I have a +48 with them now, +4 each purchase. However buying a starving vagrant and sand ninja did nothing for my rep with them.
