Best place to get hemp?
Trying to start up some hemp farms in the desert but have a bit of trouble finding a merchant that actually sells it. Any suggestions?

Swamp. Any town or Shark. middle of the map.

flotsam(sp?) ninja has a hemp field you can harvest to start a farm.

There is a Secret Drug Farm in the hills just East of Flats Lagoon, slightly north. Full of free Hemp.

Depends where in the desert. I tend to build on the north coast north of sho-battai. There I tend to get hemp from the fishermen's village north of World's End and the two hiver villages nearby.
