Fragment Axe how much strength is enough
I got one that's 39 kg and I have 78 Strength, title.

Is there a chart or something I could be checking for this info? The wiki is lacking details.

You have EXACTLY enough strength. you need twice the weapon weight in strength to wield one effectively.

A paper cut would bring your strength below the requirement though. Better raise it more.

I'm having serious issues getting it higher, I carried a body half way across the map and my exp hasn't ticked up from 84% to 85%.

It's hard at that point. Grab a trader backpack, fil it with ore and run around, probably also beat up bandit weakings on the way with that fragmented axe for some extra xp.

That or use exploits and 'cheat' like prisoner and training weapons mod.

Roaming around fighting using martial arts while carrying a body and enough weight to have 75% encumbrance is the fastest way I've found to raise strength. I left a guy with a bunch of food and armor plates and a full set of heavy masterwork armor on "Bodyguard" on a wandering assassin for a while as I played other characters. I came back and he had 92 strength. I'm not sure how long I left him going, haha.

I have a squad that I've played on and off since like super alpha days, I don't know if the backpacks that stack still exist but what I did was fill a backpack full of chain sheets and set them to transport water from a well on one side of the map to a farm and then afked a few days lol

An easy way to know how much strength a character needs to wield a weapon is to double its weight requirement.

A weapon that ways 8 will need 16 strength to be wielded correctly.
I don't know if the same applies for dexterity, but I apply the same rule for it too just in case.

Which means that an edge 2 and above fragment axe -cannot- be wielded efficiently by normal means.

Unless robotic limbs allow a character to go past the 100 mark, in which case you might just be able to with all max quality strength robo limbs, but that's a stretch goal to say the least, at that point you might aswell shed your weapons and delete people from existence with your fists.

You can get +56% from robotic limbs with two masterwork lifter arms. The extra 6% is because robotic limbs multiply with one another, so it's 1.25 * 1.25 = 1.56. Not sure if this is intended, but that's how it works.

So absolute max is 156. I have a guy with a natural strength of 93 who gets 145 with two masterwork lifter arms. I haven't tried making him a heavy weapon user, but he regularly punches and kicks limbs off people. One poor manhunter that thought he would make a good slave got both of his legs kicked off instantly in a double attack.
