How to slightly raise Trader's Guild relations?
Is it possible to bump up your relations with the Trader's Guild a few points so that when you join the Anti-Slavers Guild, you aren't immediately hostile with them?

I've turned in a few bounties (mostly Desert Ninjas and the like) to the UC during the early game. And I've bought/freed plenty of slaves from the various slave camps, which has netted me a fair few positive points with the Slave Traders.

None of my interactions with the Traders Guild has gotten or cost me any relations, however.

When I join the Anti-Slaver's Guild, the -30 Relations to UC and Slavers is not enough to make them hostile to me, but the Traders do become hostile. And if anyone from their guild happens to attack me, the UC and Slavers members like to jump in to 'protect their allies'.

I'm fine with eventually eliminating the leaders of the UC and Traders Guilds, but my characters are still quite weak right now and I very much doubt I could take on a group of Samurai. Being able to still enter the UC towns without getting attacked would be nice.

But if it's not possible, then I guess I should just hold off on joining the Anti-Slavers.

Once you ally with Anti-slavers, I think the pacifier won't talk to you.

Actually if your reputation with Trader Guild is better than -25, they would be neutral and still sending their caravans to your outpost for trade. So to improve your relationship with Trader Guild by capturing one of them and sneak into slave shop to put him into cage then slavers would enslave him. Best to have him unconscious while you are buying him repeatedly to raise reputation. Anti-slavers are still worth it for middle game. I still have a group of anti-slavers sticking around and guarding my base, manning the turrets for months after escorting one of my characters.

You can also make an alliance with the Traders Guild, obviously it will cost you a fair bit of coin, c.100,000 to be exact. Yamdu, located at the Trader Guild's HQ in Trader's Edge will offer you this deal if you talk to him.
