How to repair a damaged house?

I bought a house in the Hub. The tooltip said that I would need to repair it before I could move in. The game gave me no indication of how to do that, but did allow me to build in the broken property without fixing it first. Am I missing something, or is this a bug?

You need to click on the building. You'll see the condition and number of building materials needed to repair it. Have some building materials in your inventory and right click the building, then repair.

All I see when I click on it is Condition 0 (This building is damaged)

The bar below Condition 0 should show how many building materials you need. In hub it should be like 5/16 to start with, but the number changes depending on the building.

So what if there is nothing else listed under the condition?

Try to hold right click on the damage building.

There's 2 bars. The top bar says condition. The bottom bar lists building materials. You may need to hold right click and click repair to make the second bar show up. Either way, right click and repair to start rebuilding and you'll see how many more building materials you need.
