Oh the questions.
Something cool and unexpected there.
There is a big bay between the irontrail and purple sands.
beautiful and perfect base location.
I love the pits east, the first time I went I was stoked.
Purple sands is pretty cool too.
and 2 nights ago, with my 1K hours, I discovered berserker county, it's pretty weird.
In general, even in biomes you have crossed and traveled through a billion times, if you ever take a slight detour, like the next valley, another hilltop etc, you can end up realising that nope you do NOT know the biome at all, it even works in the borderzone, that goes to say.
The map, with its size and design is half of the game for me.
A biome is made of 2-3 seperate and distinct atmospheres, other games have given us the bad habit of considering" well yeah, I've been there, this is the snowy part, this is forest part of the game", kenshi does not do that, kenshi can surprise you with its richness, even after 1K hours
I was actually talking about the size of this game's map today at work. Not sure how K2 is going to work, if it's set 1k years before K1 it should be geographically the same world unless "whoa there cataclysm" changes everything. Looking forward to exploring it either way.
