That said, it would a great thing in terms of optimization, if say, Kenshi II went more towards 3rd person, since with a restricted camera angle, you can use occlusion culling more aggressively.
AH WILL DRIHNK FRUM YOURAH SKALL!
HRRRRRRRR!
HEAAAAAAAAAH!
EH!
But seriously, it'd be pretty cool if they made it Mount & Bladey, and the combat more complex then comparing numbers.
Vanity purpose. That's right. Why not? Would be great as an extra option
You already have that, it's called autofollow and zoom in.
No WASD though :P
That would screw up combat animations. IF you could totally control a character and use a "click-to-attack" it might be viable. But, I don't think that's possible. (Honestly, it'd be a pain unless one could opt-in during gameplay to "override" combat behaviors for a character and take them over.)
But, it's all moot, since it can't be done.
Besides, it's almost harvesting season...
It is for vanity , nothing else.
To give you the best example what I mean : Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 or whatever is that new theme park game is, can't remember its name.
