How to craft Sleeping bags?

I really need to get some sleeping bags now that im sending out my squad to train their dex but for some reason the medical crafting station isn't letting me craft them at all even with resources in it, any ideas on whats going on?

Also as a side question how much dex is good for melee fighters and for crossbow users?

The resources need to be in the inventory of the crafter, not the workbench to start a recipe.

I wouldn't worry about your Dex much with crossbows so much as perception. Perception makes your shots mire accurate and prevents friendly fire.

Not really sure what you mean by this? When assigned to a crafting bench my workers automatically put the resources in the station.

Yes but they might say they have no resources because they're not in the character inventory. That doesn't seem to be your problem though. Is the medical work bench empty other than the 8 cloth needed? If the bench is too full it can't make anything.

Yes I did this, I gave up at some point and just bought sleeping bags from various stores.

Do you have enough power for the bench? Does it belong to your faction? Do workers have access to it?

Yes I can craft anything else in it fine just not sleeping bags.
