Where do I find the best Ninja Gear?

Armor King. Shinobi thieves sometimes sell high quality gear too.

I would say it wouldn't matter much because the higher quality versions only get better damage resistance and with such light armor that isn't that big of a deal when most of the bonuses boost things like stealth and dodge.

The Armor King. You might get lucky and get specialist class "ninja" gear at Mongrel or Shark though.

And yeah, sometimes and shinobi thieves will sell decent gear.

Fact: The very best Ninja Blade is a Meitou Ninja Blade. Found at (of course) Tower Of Ninjas, home to Black Dragons. You must beat Dimak (the strongest of their 2 leaders) to get the Meitou Ninja Blade.

Tip: They lack armour & thus even at the start of a play through one could simply hire 2 or 3 merc bands (total price 6k) & over run the tower. The bounties there will net 40k total & they will have tons of Ninja Blades & other random loot you can sell for even more profit!

So to get the best Ninja Blade you must beat the Black Dragons.

This is located north of Dust King Tower, at the end of the road heading North from the Waystation in the Border Zone Canyons.

For highest quality armour, armor king. Though rarely some shops can spawn such quality as well.

When I have kidnapped MR Dimak he didn't have that sword........

If you do not think so you can also look at the wiki, you will find the same details. I already know this info as I have beaten Dimak a fair few times.


Ps/edit: Even still if he does not have it (so if your correct) then a mod would be the cause, as Dimak is set to spawn with a Meitou Ninja Blade.

Armor King often sells Edge class weapons too, although only 3 or 4 weapons and sometimes they are all MK. Could visit him until he has a katana of Edge quality. Ninja Blades are awful weapons.

You can also visit the scrapmaster in Skeleton City for a katana of at least Edge 1 quality, if you're lucky you can nab a Edge 3 nodachi.

If you want true ninja gear though, Patchwork armor mod has you covered, it has tabis, cloaks, hoods, armored GIs etc. very balanced stats and only really special in the way they look. Ninja gear in vanilla is awful imo, especially the ninja rags that look crapstained. Shinobi Thieves get the patchwork for sale.

The 2nd one distributes the gear to certain factions who usually wear no gear or very poor gear. Ups the challenge slightly too.

Tower Of Ninjas & Dimak are very glitchy, Dimak will sometimes respawn along with a new Meitou Ninja Blade & troop of guards.
