Kill their leaders, they have multiple in case their Phoenix falls. I recall there being some rather popular mods that improve this.
Though keep in mind, in Kenshi as 1 faction loses turf another gains. Cut off the head of the hydra & it will grow another! :D
The best strategy is for you to higher as many mercenary companies as you possibly can for each raid on the Holy Nation cities so that they can act as meat shields and take care of the seemingly endless number of guards in the Holy Nation cities while you specifically target the boss in each location. Even on vanilla, the boss in each area is no joke and can single handedly murder your entire party (70-80 in all stats) with masterwork armor while he has numerous high tier bodyguards.
I think I had 10 mercenary companies (40-50 extra fighters depending on individual party size) in addition to my core adventuring group of 15 before I attempted the Holy Nation city closest to the Hub. Murdering the guards on my way to get the boss was pretty easy, but the boss has some absolutely insane damage reduction and high toughness. He probably knocked out 5 to 6 people before I was able to take him down.
Yes. You are right. I don't like this and neither the imposibility to destroy a towm, to burn it to leave it as ruins or/and ashes as in the real life we always have seen leaders used to do it till imemorial times even in the Bible where they tell how they destroyed completely town and their inhabitants. The game would be more interesting, evolutioning in an inesperated way. I think they didn't do it for morality, to get finaly something politicaly correct may be.
Yes that limitations and etenal rebirth is boring and stupid.
I asked because i imagine that may be it was possible or somebody has made a mod. But it seems that no.
Thank you.
Thank you.
If a destroyone by one holy mines the power of holy nation will be reduced or not? Always rebirthing ? If i destroy one town, it will rebirth or progressively i may destroy and weaken the faction. Where is the boss in each town ? Can i comeas in a neutral wayand directly kill him or it is a better option to kill all the patrols who wandere outside one town and then enter the town to achieve the work ?
I don't know what strategy it is the best one.
I don't use mercenaries. I find them too expensive. I have 256 prisoners mod and progresively i aglomarate people using the best to build one or two or threee armies of 25 people with some aditional animals. I can join my troups else i use them to defent the Hub where i am settled.
By the way, how can i obtain allies ?I would like to be allied with the Shreks and the robots of hives but i don't know how.
Thank you very much, one more time.
Hit and run works wonders, taking out a gate, then retreating to heal up at a camp, then wipe out the city section by section. That is kind of cheesy but the Alarm system in Kenshi is awful, almost nobody responds to a gate being attacked.
They are very weak, better stats than the United Cities but worse gear, and worse both than the Shek Kingdom.
Shekmasterrace.
