What Type of Head Gear Can A Hive Wear?
I'm talking about the variety that actually do have a free head slot for it, because at one stage I thought I could put any type of hat or helm on their heads, but now it's just head bands. I think.

Prince can wear most headgear, worker can wear some, soldier cannot wear any vanilla.

I'm working on proccing MW of every piece of gear there is. Actually succeeded that. Now working up MW of all the pieces I want. Darn smithing won't go above 95. Also cracked how I want weapon setup. Can't from top of mind list what hivers can wear, but restrictions aren't that bad. I was surprised swamp ninja mask fitted, I have given everyone a MW swamp mask now. Heavy armorerd guys put it in bag as using crab helmet. I'm trying to avoid crab helmet on everyone, but seem only my archers will get something else as secondary. Swamp ninja mask seem to be my to go now. Still acid resistance to go, the dustcoat is to good, but to big for bags. im considering mods, mostly because everyone want crab helmet. Hivers cant wear crab tho, but really the mask for its dust protection just wipes the table. Then as hiver you are 100% covered on 3 weather effects. Humans still have to tackle acid, a little tan from burn it seem we have to take. It's a lot about luck, i walked through venge many times, but only one time I had really bad luck and i was scorched so bad people were dropping.

As for weapons i landed upon something like this for general use:
Slot 1: Guardless Katana (Humanoid Damage)
Slot 2: Polearm (Animal Damage)
Slot 3: Short Cleaver (Robot Damage)

I'm talking about the Prince and the Workers. They are just about the same. I know Masura in one of my games was able to wear the Visored Helm, but after taking it off all he would wear would be the Headband. This might have been included with a new patch, because he had no problem with that helm at one stage.

Sure you need to manually switch. Don't think they ever switch automatically.

Fyi if their sword arm is disable they will go unarmed.

I just recruited a Hive Soldier wearing a straw hat,. Now, I thought they were the variety of Hive that couldn't wear anything on their head. No head slot for it, but this one has.

What gives....

That's gotta be a mod or a bug, I've got like 1000 hours in the game and have never seen that once.
