mod keeps crashing my game?

ok so basically I had a few mods unrelated to races or textures,
I downloaded the race mod package, I forgot who it was designed by but it shouldn't of interfered with my game or mods in anyway, anyway I play for about an hour at a time before the game actually crashes, nothing specific happens when it does.
just a plain random crash, anyway the game save was imported and the game was created after the mod was installed.

does simply creating a new game sometimes fix errors that occur with new mods interacting with old saves or should importing the save fix the issue.

I'm basically trying to figure out whether I should either 1;
create a new save fixing my problem
or 2; uninstall recent mods

You should always import a save when you install new mods or get rid of mods. A new game is not needed as importing a save is the equivalent of resetting the whole world minus some parameters if they're kept. If a mod is causing you to crash make sure it doesn't conflict with other mods or it takes priority over other mods that may conflict by being lower in your mod list. If it's still causing you to crash and you want to get rid of it just import your save after disabling the mod in the launcher and uninstalling it on Steam.
