Depends on how much he's worth and where you have you have to turn him in.

I dunno im in this place called the hub, i didnt see a police station anywhere, I also reloaded my save and seems hes no longer worth a bounty after i put him in a bed

Nevermind I picked up the wrong guy, yea hes worth 500, and seeing as i only started out with 1k it would be a cool first thing to do

Hover your mouse over his bounty, it'll tell you which factions want him turned in.
Considering where you are, the Shek Kingdom probably wants him in which case you would want to take him to a town of theirs a short way to the southwest.

For 500 cats I'd say it's not worth the trouble. You probably make more money mining ore in the time it takes you to travel to Squin and back.

So this leads to my next question then, hungry bandits, is there any good in healing one and feeding him, do you get allies this way or do they simply continue to do what they do afterwards?
Larus Aug 31, 2019 @ 12:31pm
Don't bother with the hungry bandits, they are ment to annoy and to die by the dozens. If you want to get peaceful relationship then consider using the minor faction pacifier mod.

Ok cool, lastly I have two towns on my map, i bought a shack and researched some stuff to make a home for myself, but nobody has given me information on other towns, and i have two bounties but no way to track people, what do i do from here?

i recommend you to explore the world, grow in numbers and (fighting) strength.

building a base is more or less "endgame", you can do it from the start if you know what you do... otherwise, you are more or less doomed...
Larus Aug 31, 2019 @ 2:22pm
Some stores offer maps. One of those stores is in Squin which should already be revealed. It's a good way to know where the major cities are.

Regarding bases, learn the game first and build your party. Then venture out and make use of the prospection skill to find a good place. There are tons of good locations and it all depends on what you want.

It's likely that you don't know yet what constitutes to a "good" base but it will come in time :)

just walk forward

Ok, so here's what i've got, I got lucky and a few bandits came into the hub, they all attacked me and died, I sold all the loot and made asmall fortune. I bought a bull pub from a wandering nomad and I then went from the hub, south into a shek village and recruited a hornless woman named ruka for free, I also bought a few beds and some supplies for my cheap shack house in the hub so i could make bread and place some beds, i also bought a few maps to know my surroundings ultimately making me broke again, If i venture out i know i will die because i cant even hold my own in a fight, even with the bull and ruka. we all suck at combat

Use npc guards and patrols to your advantage. Fight along side them for early combat exp and loot the bandit corpses after.

Idk what your first characters race is, but Ruka is going to make holy nation territory a dangerous place, dont go north from the hub. Those holy pains don’t take kindly to women OR shek, Ruka happens to be both. A Greenlander male with a holy flame can usually talk the paladins into letting you go, but no one else can.

Skeletons and anyone with robotic limbs will be attacked on site.

To the south west of the hub is shek territory. Probably your best bet, but you’ll have to be careful and stick near squin so you can run to the safety of the guards.

To your east is dust bandit territory. If you hire a squad or mercs, you can use them as your early source of income, armor, weapons, and experience.

Don’t go west or north west. Things there will eat you. Seriously. Don’t.

Yea I did some reading on the north, the problem is its so dangerous to survive, i ran to the closest hive village and cheesed it letting their army kill like 30 hungry bandits that where chasing me, now im mining copper around the town because its safe. I'm not sure how im going to get to the point where we can safely defend ourselves. This game so far has been runaway simulator
wordwaster Aug 31, 2019 @ 4:56pm
Try getting 4-5 characters for now. Don’t get too many more, because food is expensive. Wait till you can afford it.

Btw the best early game money is loot. Mining copper is boring. The battlefield of bast is a great place to loot corpses. Just find a battle and loot the corpses of the losers. Just be careful not to loot the fallen of the winners. They don’t like that...

Works even better if the holy incompetent don’t like you. You can lure them into United cities armies to speed things up.
